Plan International Details
Visible Plan The Visible network is available in all 50 states across the U.S., and domestic roaming is included at no additional cost.
International service while outside the U.S.:
- Connect to local Wi-Fi.

- Your device must be unlocked to use this option.
- Enable Global Pass.

International service from inside the U.S.:
- Unlimited calls and texts from within the U.S. to:

Global Pass

Global Pass provides 24 hours of unlimited calls, texts, and up to 2GB/day high-speed roaming data in more than 140 countries and territories!
How it works - In your Visible account, enable Autopay and Global Pass.

- Upon arrival at your destination, a 24-hour Global Pass session will begin when your device initiates a connection to a compatible country’s cellular network – an SMS will be sent upon arrival in your destination country.
- You’ll receive a notification letting you know that your Global Pass has successfully activated.
- What activities trigger a connection?
- Apps using/refreshing data in the background

- Placing or receiving a call

- Sending or receiving a text
- After a Global Pass session ends, any further device connection to the foreign network will trigger another 24-hour Global Pass session and fee.
- If you travel to more than one Global Pass-compatible country on the same day, you will be charged for a new 24-hour session once your device initiates another network connection.

- Avoiding unwanted charges:
- Keep your device’s airplane mode enabled until you’re ready for your Global Pass session to start.

- Enable airplane mode before the active Global Pass session expires.

- Alternatively, you can also go into your account via the app or a web browser and disable Global Pass (you can re-enable the feature later, when ready).
- Calls may be placed from your destination country to phone numbers within that country OR to the U.S. while Global Pass is active for no additional charge.

Pricing - Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands:
- Visible base plan: $5/day

- Visible+ and Visible+ Pro: Included in plan benefits
- 140 other countries and territories: $10/day for both plans

- If more than 50% of your talk, text or data usage in a 60-day period is in Canada or Mexico, use of those services in those countries may be removed or limited.
Visible+ Benefits
Note:
Switching from Visible+ to Visible will result in loss of banked Global Passes.
Monthly 
- When switching from annual to monthly service, any unused Global Passes will roll over to the monthly service.
- Up to 12 Global Passes.
- When switching from Visible to Visible+:
- The first complimentary Global Pass will be available immediately after switching.
Annual
- Members on the Visible+ annual plan receive all 12 complimentary Global Passes at time of activation.

- When switching from Visible to Visible+:
- The complimentary Global Pass amount is determined by the month you switched.
- Example: You activate January 15th and switch to Visible+ February 14th, then you will receive 11 complimentary Global Passes.
Device Compatibility

Domestic Roaming

Domestic roaming within the U.S. is included on all Visible plans!

Roaming occurs when traveling to remote areas within the U.S. and the only available cellular service is another carrier’s network. While roaming, data speeds may reduce to 2G speeds.

Follow these steps to toggle roaming capabilities off and on:
iOS devices 1. Open the Settings app.
2. Navigate to Cellular > Cellular Data Options.
3. Tap the Data Roaming toggle to turn it off and on.

Samsung devices 1. Open the Settings app.
2. Navigate to Connections > Mobile Networks.
3. Tap the Data roaming toggle to turn it off and on.

Google devices 1. Open the Settings app.
2. Navigate to Network & internet > Mobile Network.
3. Tap the Roaming toggle to turn it off and on

What are my options when calling from another country?

Calling and texting from a country outside of the U.S.? No problem! Visible can help you stay connected.

Visible+ allows you to use limited data in Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Note:
- Visible+: Up to 2GB/day high-speed data, then speed reduces to 2G.

- Visible+ Pro: Up to 2GB/day high-speed data, then speed reduces to 3G.

Wi-Fi

If you don’t have local cellular service, Wi-Fi should become your best friend!

Wi-Fi Calling is free and allows you to reach out as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection. See the Explore Visible plan features page to learn more about Wi-Fi Calling.

Local SIM Service

Swap out your Visible SIM card for a local SIM when you need mobile services while traveling internationally! Make sure to keep your Visible SIM card in a safe place so you can swap it back when you are back from your travels.

Your phone must be unlocked in order to use another network’s SIM card. For more information head over to our article on unlocking your phone.

- When calling the U.S. from another country, add 1 before dialing the number.

- This may temporarily change your MDN on the receiver’s caller ID.

Legal Disclaimer: Calling from Canada and Mexico is unlimited for domestic calls, or internationally back to the U.S. For Visible+ and Visible+ Pro, when roaming in Canada or Mexico, data speeds are reduced to 3G after 2 GB/day.
